In the twelve years that Fitzpatrick worked for Philip Lynott and Thin Lizzy, he produced an enormous
body of work, some 250 pieces in all, which are presently in the process of being catalogued and arranged
in chronological order. Right now he is in the process of publishing the first of a series of limited
edition prints of his own personal favourites. The first set of four will be published in late 1998 and
will be available directly from this site. The prints will be of the highest quality, size A2 on heavy duty
stock, signed and numbered in an exclusive limited edition of 995 at £50 per print. The series will be a
set of twelve prints in total, published over the next five years, by the artist himself. The first four
prints will be:
- 'Fatalistic Attitudes' (Unpublished Album Cover-The artists favourite work).
- 'Black Rose' (The Original Album Cover Art-Lynotts own favourite)
- 'Vagabonds of the Western World' (Poster Version).
- 'Philip Lynott-Portrait' (Originally published in Philip Lynott-Collected Works).
"I have sat on this work for a long time and have decided that its time to do something with it,
to make the works more accessible to genuine Lizzy followers. I intend donating some original artwork
and a copy of each print to the new Irish Rock Museum and I will be making some originals available to
fans also. I intend to ensure that each original finds a good home".
